Back together after more than a week, Rick and Lee were out on mid-morning open space patrols and providing a presence around Rush Green to monitor college-based ASB (5.65 miles).
1.87 miles of the country park (p) including the front lakes, was covered before Valentines Way and Great Cullings. ASB hotspots Harveys Lane (12.19pm), the Thorntons Farm Avenue alley and the Dagenham Road flats (12.26pm, p) were all checked, as well as the Co-op (12.34pm).
Fourth Avenue and Central Park were also patrolled.
In Fels Field (1pm, p), volunteers were planting thousands of trees with the 'Miyawaki method', an approach used to help build fast-growing sustainable forests and woodland. (7199EA)
